We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Coordinator.
Job Description: The Service Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient coordination of repair services and technician assignments across our multiple store locations. The ideal candidate will be organized, communicative, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously. As a Service Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for incoming service requests, managing technician assignments, and maintaining clear communication with both customers and technicians.
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and messages from customers and store locations.
- Gather detailed information about repair requests, including device issues and customer information.
- Assign repair tasks to technicians based on their skills, availability, and location.
- Schedule appointments for repairs, ensuring efficient utilization of technician resources.
- Monitor the progress of repair projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Maintain a real-time overview of technician workloads and adjust assignments as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with store managers and technicians to address urgent repair requests.
- Keep accurate records of repair jobs, technician assignments, and customer interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, providing repair status updates, and resolving issues.
- Ensure effective communication between customers, technicians, and store locations throughout the repair process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing overall operational efficiency.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects, challenges, and improvements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education is a plus.
- Prior experience in a dispatching or coordination role is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Multilingual is a plus
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle urgent situations effectively.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Knowledge of cell phone repair processes and technical terminology is a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, as needed.
Compensation: The hourly wage for this position will range from $10 to $12, depending on experience and qualifications.
